Is permanence a necessary quality for existence? Influenced by the temporary nature of ghost towns throughout Nevada, as well as artists such as Dan Flavin, James Turrell, and Michael Heizer, Line seeks to explore purpose. Striving to remain balanced between existence and non-existence.

Line emerges from the ground as an illuminated acrylic rod. Unobtrusive and near nonexistent during the day, emanating a dim beacon of gradated light for those who encounter it at night.
